2017 The Too Tall Tree, the first in The Cull series, won the Ink & Insights Apprentice Category, and was also voted as one of the Judge's Favourites stories.

2020 I've entered the NYC Midnight Flash Fiction Challenge again, after Challenge #1 I'm first in my group, will have to see how I go in Challenge #2 if I make it to Round 2. Fingers crossed! (Update - I got disqualified!! Used my object in conversation instead of as a physical object.)

2020 My short stories Find A Way and Love, Meryl and Popcorn, have been longlisted for the flash500 2020 Quarter 4 flash fiction contest, with the short list still to be announced.
Competitions can be fun and frustrating. I've had the same story entered in different comps and I've had judges in one comp say my writing was below standard and the same story has done well in other comps. Don't get frustrated with comments. Everything is subjective.
